On Monday I had the pleasure of playing music with Miss Katie Dill of the hit-making band Mean Lady. My roommate invited her over after her weekly show at Piano’s (Mondays, ongoing. On! Go!) I plopped down on the couch after my box office shift and we played a mash-up of You Are my Sunshine/ I’ll Fly Away, Amazing Grace, Woodstock. Katie made me throw my head back and close my eyes as she played a cover of “Always Be My Baby.”
She IS talent. Please listen to such awesome songs of hers as Indian Sun, Pony-o, Far Away and this catchy jawn: Lonely.
